Bacon Apple and Fig Breakfast Sammies
Keep the family going all morning long with a hearty and nutritious Bacon Apple Breakfast Sandwich. Great for snacks and easy brunch entertaining too!
I’m bad about printing or updating our family pictures around the house. Even worse about going through the pics and sorting them on the computer. After weeks of busy weekends, we finally got to enjoy a day hanging together as a family at the house. We watched a movie, had big midday family meal, played games, even danced!
The rain may have been the real reason, but I’m going to proclaim it was for the sake of TOGETHERNESS! Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Amidst all this fun, I managed to slip in some time sorting pictures on the computer to print, including my two younger kiddos first day of school. I love how excited Grant is to tell me about his first day of Kindergarten and Gracie’s “I Got This” face as she enters her last year of elementary school. (My kiddos are ridiculously cute right? Look at that face… That hair on Grant is like Blue Lagoon!)
One of my kids’ favorite breakfasts are Bacon, Apple and Fig Breakfast Sammies. Toasted cinnamon raisin English muffins filled with fig butter, white cheddar, thick crispy bacon, and crisp apples. They LOVE them! Bacon Apple Breakfast Sandwiches are hearty and nutritious and keep them going all morning long. But this recipe is great for hearty snacks and easy brunch entertaining too!
The best part is that you can assembly line your ingredients, which comes in handy when you have to get kids on the bus at 6:52am! Yep, you heard me! I drink so much coffee people!
